Turducken

Wow your guests this holiday season with a delicious Turducken! No need for any deboning or fancy knife skills, we use breast meat only in this recipe. Thin layers of turkey, chicken, and Duck Breast are nestled together with stuffing in between.

This is a great recipe to make if you are not able to defrost a whole bird in time for your holiday meal. For a step-by-step video, check out #CookingWithLiv!

Ingredients

  • 1 Medium or Large Duck Breast

  • 1 Large Turkey Breast

  • 1 Large Skinless Chicken Breast

  • 1.5 Cups Stuffing

  • 10 Slices Bacon

    Remove skin from duck breast, and butterfly duck breast lengthwise. Butterfly turkey breast and chicken breast.

    With a meat tenderizer, flatten out turkey breast, duck breast, and chicken breast into thin layers.

    Lay plastic wrap out and add turkey layer on top. Add ¾ Cup of stuffing on top of turkey layer then add chicken layer. Add 3/4 Cup of stuffing on top of the chicken layer then add duck on top.

    Tightly wrap and roll layers into a log with the plastic wrap. Secure with a few large toothpicks if needed. Let rest in the fridge for at least 2 hours.

    Preheat oven to 375 Degrees F.

    On a cutting board, remove plastic wrap, then wrap the turducken roll with bacon strips.

    Bake on a grate in a roasting pan for 1 hr and 30 minutes or until temperature reaches 165 degrees.

Looking to serve a large party? Use an extra-large turkey breast, 2 chicken breast, 2 duck breast and 2 cups of stuffing to make a turducken large enough to feed 10. Cook for 2.5 hrs.
