Roast Duck Mac and Cheese

Ingredients

  • 16 oz. Elbow Macaroni

  • 4 Tbsp. Butter

  • ¼ Cup Flour

  • 2 Cups Whole Milk

  • 1.5 Cup Low-fat Milk

  • 1 ½ tsp. Salt

  • 2 tsp. Ground Mustard

  • 1 tsp. Pepper

  • 4 Cups Cheddar Cheese

Directions

    Preheat oven to 375 degrees. On a foil-lined pan, bake roast half duck for 15 minutes.

    Cook noodles according to packaging instructions al dente. Drain and set aside.

    Melt the butter in a large saucepan. Whisk in flour stirring constantly for 2 minutes.

    Slowly stir in milk and bring to a boil while continuing to stir. Reduce heat and simmer for 7 minutes or until the sauce thickens.

    Add ground mustard, salt, pepper, and cheddar cheese to sauce and stir until cheese melts. Remove pan from heat.

    Shred roast half duck into bite sized pieces.

  • 7

    Stir in noodles then shredded duck and serve.
