Duck Breakfast Casserole

Duck Sausage Breakfast Casserole

Feed a crowd with this PERFECT breakfast recipe! With an array of spices mixed in with the Ground Duck, bread and cheese, you may just want to keep it all for yourself.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz. Ground Duck

  • ½ tsp. ground sage

  • 1/2 tsp. thyme

  • ¼ tsp. chili powder

  • ¼ tsp cayenne

  • ¼ tsp. pepper

  • ½ tsp. salt, divided

  • 6 eggs

  • 6 slices white bread

  • 1.5 Cups Milk

  • 1 tsp. mustard

  • 1 Cup shredded cheddar cheese

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

    Mix ground duck, sage, thyme, chili powder, cayenne, pepper, and ¼ tsp. salt to create duck sausage.

    In a pan on medium-high heat, brown duck sausage for 5-10 minutes.

    With a mixer, beat eggs with milk, 1/4 tsp. salt and mustard. Pour mixture into a casserole pan.

    Cube bread. Mix in bread, cheese, and duck sausage into the casserole pan.

    Bake for 45 minutes and serve warm.
