MEET THE FAMILY

Terry has been leading Maple Leaf Farms for over 55 years. As our current Chairman of our Board, Terry has set out to establish Maple Leaf Farms as an industry leader for many years. Throughout his career, Terry has used his diverse work experiences to serve as a valuable voice on many business, industry & government boards. His humility & wisdom has shaped our company culture. Terry received his degree from Purdue University in Agriculture Economics and later received an Honorary Doctorate of Agriculture from Purdue due to his accomplishments.

Sandra's father started our company in 1958 , and she and Terry met and married soon after. She is our current Vice Chair of our Board and was a well accomplished Doctor in Psychology throughout local schools and healthcare for over 20 years. Sandra graduated with a BS from Purdue University, MA from Manchester College, MS from Saint Francis University , & a PhD from Ball State University.

Scott has worked for Maple Leaf Farms for over 30 years. Starting as a teenager, he worked throughout the company, until he landed in his current as CEO in 2023. Previously, Scott headed up the Operations, Quality Assurance, Live Production, Distribution & the National Duck Council and continued his role as co-President starting in 2001. He is also part of our Board of Directors. Scott graduated with a BS in management from Purdue University and an MBA from University of Wisconsin- Madison. Scott and his wife, Wende, are parents to Zach & Alli.

John has worked for Maple Leaf Farms for over 30 years. Starting as a teenager, he worked throughout the company until he landed in his current role of President in 2023. During his time as Co-President starting in 2001, he lead the charge as the head of Sales & Marketing, HR, R&D, IT, Business Ventures & our China Division. He is also part of our Board of Directors. John studied Restaurant & Hotel Management and Psychology at Purdue University. John and his wife, Maria, are parents to Olivia, Jack & Julia.

Tricia joined Maple Leaf Farms for several years in the marketing department. She has been a board member for many years and is our go to for family council communications. Tricia graduated from Ball State University prior to her time at Maple Leaf. She and her husband, John Rice (JR), are parents to Sam & Hannah.

Olivia Tucker Ruddell is currently Maple Leaf Farms' Director of Marketing and has been with Maple Leaf full time for over 5 years. Previously our Brand Marketing Manager and International Marketing Coordinator, she has helped grow Maple Leaf's brand initiatives and international presence over the last few years. Olivia graduated from Purdue University in 2018 majoring in Marketing and Strategic Management. Before starting full-time, she interned with Maple Leaf Farms and the Sydney Opera House. Olivia and her husband, Jonathan, are parents to their two dogs Lucy and Annie. She is John's daughter.

Sam has been with Maple Leaf Farms full time for over 3 years. Starting out in a Territory Rep position for Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky, he applies his sales knowledge to his new role as our Business Analyst for our Sales and Marketing Team. Prior to his time at Maple Leaf Farms, he worked at Maple Leaf Farm's down & feather sister company in Grand Rapids, Down Inc., as a Hospitality Channel Sales Representative. He graduated from Purdue University in 2019, majoring in Finance. Sam is Tricia's son.

Alli recently started a few years ago with Maple Leaf Farms in her Territory Rep position. In her current position as the National Accounts Manager, she works directly with national restaurant chains and foodservice operators. Prior to her roles here, she worked as a communications director and deputy press secretary for two congressmen on Capitol hill and worked for Guidehouse consulting for the Department of Veterans Affairs. She graduated from Purdue University in 2015, majoring in Communication and Spanish. Alli and her husband, Vince, are parents to their two cats Drew & Columbia. Alli is Scott's daughter.

Zach has worked at Maple Leaf Farms for over 10 years. He started out in the Live Production department as a Special Projects Coordinator then moved to manage our Live Production Audits & Research Projects. He then worked as a Director in Quality Assurance, held a role as our Retention and Efficiency Manager in Human Resources, and has been recently appointed our Director of Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility. Zach graduated from Purdue University in 2012 where he studied Animal Science & Agribusiness. He recently received a Master of Agricultural Economics degree from Purdue University and Master of Business Administration from Kelley School of Business of Indiana University in 2023. Zach and his wife, Gabby, are parents to Penelope and Arianna. Zach is Scotts son.

Jack has worked at Maple Leaf Farms full time for over 2 years. He now manages all sales for Illinois, Iowa, Wisconsin, Indiana, and Michigan in his current role. After two internships and a part time position at Maple Leaf Farms, Jack spent his first 2 years full time, as a Customer Service Representative and a Territory Sales Representative. In this role he helped grow our product presence in the U.S. pet food market, Canadian food service and retail markets, and in new duck byproduct markets. Jack attended Purdue University and studied Management and Agricultural Sales & Marketing. Jack is Johns son.

Brian heads up management for the Western, Midwest and Southern territories. He has been part of the Maple Leaf Farms Family for over 20 years.

Chris heads up management for the Northwest, Central, Northeast, and Mid-Atlantic territories. He has been part of the Maple Leaf Farms Family for over several years.

Charlie manages all sales in Florida, Alabama, Mississippi & Georgia. He has been part of the Maple Leaf Farms Family for over 20 years.

Trisha manages all sales for California, Nevada, New Mexico, Arizona & Hawaii. She joined the Maple Leaf Farms Family in 2022. Trisha was a broker for Maple Leaf Farms products for many years prior to her new role.

Greg manages all sales for Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, Delaware, Maryland, DC, North Carolina, South Carolina, Kentucky, and Tennessee. Greg has been part of the Maple Leaf Farms Family for over 5 years.

Dan manages all sales in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont, New York, Pennsylvania, & New Jersey. He has been part of the Maple Leaf Farms Family for over 15 years.

Albert manages all sales for Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska & Arkansas. He has been part of the Maple Leaf Farms Family for over 5 years.

Tami manages sales for our major national retail accounts. She has been part of the Maple Leaf Farms Family for over 5 years.

Don manages all sales for Washington state, South Dakota, North Dakota, Minnesota, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Utah, Colorado, Wyoming & Alaska. He has been part of the Maple Leaf Farms Family for over 10 years.

Jack has worked at Maple Leaf Farms full time for over 2 years. He now manages all sales for Illinois, Iowa, Wisconsin, Indiana, and Michigan in his current role. Hamza oversees the livestock sales in targeted countries and guides our export and pet food sale efforts. He has been a part of the Maple Leaf Farms family since 2016.

Angelica Rangel manages all South America, Central America, Mexico, and any other Latin American international sales. She has been a part of the Maple Leaf Farms family since 2019.

Kathryn provides and maintains our outstanding customer service as the lead of our excellent Customer Service Team. She has been a part of the Maple Leaf Farms family for over 10 years.

Mandy leads our team of Customer Service Representatives. She has covered all of the U.S. as a Customer Service Representative since joining the Maple Leaf Farms family over 20 years ago.

Nicole is our Service Specialist who handles national retail accounts, Maple Leaf Farms eCommerce, Corporate Gifting and our Business to Business Program. She has has been a part of the Maple Leaf Farms family for over 8 years.
