Duck Parmesan Tenders

Our Breaded Duck Tenders make this recipe quick, easy & delicious! Spice up tomato sauce and nestle over pasta for a delicious Italian meal. You can also use our Duck Breast for this recipe if you want to get crafty in the kitchen.

Ingredients

  • 1 jar marinara sauce

  • 1 box spaghetti noodles

  • 1 cup parmesan

  • 1 tsp. Oregano

  • 4 cloves garlic minced

  • 1 shallot finely diced

  • 1 tsp. olive oil

  • Fresh basil

Directions

    Heat oven to 400 degrees. Place Breaded Duck Tenders on pan and cook according to packaging directions.

    While the duck is in the oven, boil the pasta until el dente.

    In a medium sauce pan, heat pan and olive oil to a medium-low temperature then stir in the garlic and onions for 1-2 minutes.

    Add sauce and oregano and let simmer until duck is done.

    To serve - place noodles bowl then drizzle a layer of sauce over them. Place duck pieces on top and drizzle another layer of sauce and top each bowl with ΒΌ cup parmesan or as much as you desire. Serve with fresh basil on top.

Duck Breast Substitute:

If you would like to make this recipe with duck breast replace Step 1 with the following:

Take the skin off of two medium to large duck breast and slice into Β½ in strips and season with salt and pepper. Whisk 2 eggs in a bowl, put Β½ cup of flour in the bowl and ΒΎ of panko breadcrumbs in another bowl with ΒΌ cup grated parmesan. Dip duck strips into flour, egg, then panko. Then place on pan and bake for 20 minutes at 400 degrees.
