In order to meet the growing global demand for Maple Leaf Farms duck, our operations have been Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) certified through the British Retail Consortium (BRC) technical standards. This is a business-driven initiative for the continuous improvement of food safety management systems and is recognized internationally. These specific requirements ensure the production, packaging, storage and distribution of safe food and consumer products. Maple Leaf Farms is the first American duck producer to be GFSI certified.
